How often should I have a general pest control treatment?

For most residential properties, a treatment every 6 to 12 months is a practical approach to managing common household pests. The appropriate frequency depends on your property type, pest pressure and environment. Properties with high pest activity, food preparation areas or adjacent bushland may benefit from more frequent treatments.

What pests are included in a general pest control treatment?

A standard general pest control treatment typically covers cockroaches (American and common species), ants (common species), spiders and silverfish. German cockroaches, wasp nests, flying insects and fire ants are separately assessed and quoted. They are not included in a standard general pest treatment. Rodent management is also a separate service. We will confirm what is included when you book.

Do I need to leave the property during treatment?

This depends on the treatment being carried out. We will advise you of any re-entry requirements when you book. Generally, you will need to vacate the property for a period after internal treatments and keep pets away from treated areas until dry.

How should I prepare for a pest control treatment?

We will provide preparation instructions specific to your treatment when you book. Generally, this includes clearing under sinks and in cupboards, removing pets and their food bowls during treatment, and ensuring access to all required areas including subfloor and roof void where applicable.

Are the products used safe for children and pets?
